Shelby Lee is a New York City based Asian-American artist. She received her BFA in 3D Animation & Motion Arts from Pratt Institute, and is currently pursuing a career in production management for animation or VFX. She has experience freelancing as a 3D artist and designer on a wide range of projects, including jumbotron sports animations, independent films, and AR experiences. She is passionate about using animation as a vehicle for telling underrepresented and unique stories.
When she is not working hard, she can be found knitting or watching The Muppets in her free time.
Shelby volunteers at Asians In Animation as the Head of Distribution. She is currently working as a 3D Animator on an independent CG animated film at Dukode Studio. She is always looking for new projects to be a part of, feel free to reach out!
